Playwright

The @archibald/playwright package wires Playwright into Archibald projects as a browser end-to-end testing integration. Like its Cypress counterpart it builds on the shared @archibald/e2e core and exposes two entries:

  • @archibald/playwright — the config/preset entry consumed by your playwright.config.
  • @archibald/playwright/support — support helpers for your spec environment.

@playwright/test is a peer dependency — your project controls the Playwright version.

How to use

archibald add playwright

This scaffolds a working Playwright setup (config, directory layout) into the project. In your specs, use the support helpers to synchronize with Archibald's hydration model:

import { waitForHydration } from '@archibald/playwright/support';

Then run the suites through the CLI:

archibald e2e --environment local --platform shop
